My name is Devon Chan. I am a professional dog trainer, certified by Northwest Dog Training Academy in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
At Top Dog canine, my goal is to help dog owners develop better relationships with their dogs. I follow the Companion Concept Program, created by Dennis Brunton, which is based on the fact that your dog is your friend.
At the root of my training is a proper balance of praise and correction based on the individual dog, and a thorough understanding of the dog's ancestry and instincts. Rather than use a "one size fits all" approach, I carefully examine all aspects of a dog's life, temperament, and personality, and tailor my training to the needs of the dog and the owner.
